John Mizerany

CEO

John Mizerany serves as CEO for Smile Source and brings over 30 years of healthcare services industry experience and has led growth and success in a variety of sectors that include hospital systems, ambulatory/outpatient organizations, chronic care organizations, physician group practices, and management consulting. He has well-rounded experience in multi-site operations, strategic & business development, and physician joint ventures which span across the private equity, publicly traded, and not-for-profit settings. John most recently served as CEO for Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care as well as CEO for CareNow.

John earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and his MBA degree from Saint Louis University’s Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business as well as his MHA degree from Saint Louis University’s School of Public Health. John enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters as well as playing tennis and traveling with his family.

Sherry Wilson

CFO

Sherry Wilson comes to Smile Source after spending five years with Vision Source. While at Vision Source, she was promoted from Corporate Controller to Vice President of Finance and Accounting. During her time at Vision Source, Wilson led several automation efforts that allowed the Finance team to reduce the overall headcount. Before Vision Source, she was Director of Accounting at Key Energy Services where she was a core member of the Oracle implementation team during their ERP conversion.

Sherry is a CPA and earned degrees in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, attending NASCAR races, Texas A&M Aggies football games, and traveling.

Dan Walker

COO & SVP Vendor Relations

Dan worked at SAFE 2 SAVE as Executive Vice President. Before that, he was the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives/Vendor Relations for Vision Source and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. He was directly responsible for negotiating the very best member deals for the membership and he worked alongside member Doctors to bring creative solutions to the marketplace including private-label products such as Pure & Clean.

He also led the development of the Optical Dream, a staff incentive and engagement program that has quickly become a top reason for joining. He brings tireless energy and experience in working collaboratively with Doctors.

Tom Rimmer

VP of Strategic Partnerships / Vendor Management

Tom Rimmer is a multi-faceted sales professional offering a combined 25 years of leadership and revenue growth within the dental and orthodontic industries. Tom joins Smile Source with a proven track record of success managing large-scale sales organizations including as Regional and Corporate Accounts Director at HuFriedy Group, Sr Director of Business Development at KLOwen, and VP of sales at ODO.

As VP of Strategic Partnerships, Tom will collaborate with vendors, sales, marketing, member success, and members on the creation of competitive concept proposals and new service offerings based on detailed and documented insights into the market and our member’s needs. Tom’s commitment to helping others succeed, along with his supportive, achievement-oriented style will help to bridge our members and vendor partners together by matching specific needs with the products and services Smile Source has to offer to deliver the outcomes our members want to elevate their practice and life.

Tom is an avid skier and swimmer and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children in the mountains and on the beach.

Ashley Newman

VP of Marketing & Events

As a seasoned healthcare marketing professional, Ashley has cultivated a rich and extensive background in elevating brands and spearheading transformative growth strategies within the healthcare industry.

Helping dentists strengthen and grow their practices has been her focus since 2010. Previously she held leadership roles at DDS Lab and Simplifeye where her skills in data analysis, brand strategy, digital marketing, and event production were key in driving impressive growth.

Kristi Bompiani

Kristi Bompiani is a former golf professional turned sales enthusiast with a passion for building high-performing teams and scaling companies. As a transformational leader, Kristi is known for her ability to connect with people, focus on the future, and embrace change. Her mission is to empower and inspire sales teams to achieve transformative results and career-defining success through strategic leadership, mentorship, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, Kristi is a proud mom of three boys. She enjoys spending time with them, attending their sporting events, and staying active. Quality time with family and friends holds immense value for her during her spare moments.
